Opening Weekend

I have been waiting all summer to say this and now I finally can ITS OPENING WEEKEND BABY!!!!!! Yeah thats right the time has finally come and now I’ll let you’ll in on my preview for Saturdays matchups. East Carolina Pirates vs Virginia Tech Hokies For the 2nd consecutive season the Hokies will be opening up against the Pirates. I think that this matchup will be more in Techs favor than last year because the Pirates are without their star SR. RB from last year Chris Johnson who led the attack for ECU last year when they came up just short to the Hokies 17-7. I predict this time around a score of 24-10 in the Hokies favor. Check it out at 12:00 Eastern ESPN

Appalachian State Mountaineers vs LSU Tigers Remember this time last year the Michigan Wolverines were hosting a cupcake team known as Appalachian State. Michigan was a 26 1/2 point favorite but guess what somebody won a lot of money because the Mountaineers stunned the “Big House”. This time around they are going up against the National champion LSU Tigers. Whom are so fast that they have Hossain Bolt the fastest man on Earth as a 3rd string Wide-Out. My Prediction App St. pulls off another upset 34-31 App St. on ESPN @ 5:00 Eastern * Alabama Crimson Tide vs Clemson Tigers This weeks prime time game of the week on ESPN puts the Alabama Crimson Tide vs the Clemson tiger in the Georgia Dome. Both of these teams have fast running cores but Clemson definetly has the better of the two which is gonna really give the Tide some problems. I predict the Tigers to come out on top at the end. 38-31 Clemson Illinois Fighting Illini vs Missouri Tigers The 2nd of the two Saturday night prime time games puts Juice Williams and the Illini against Chase Daniels and the Tigers. Both of these teams have strong Heisman Candidates in Juice and Chase. The reason that this is a top matchup is because of the Rivalry between these two teams. My final Score is 42- 38 Illini.

  1. I agree with you about Glennon. I thought the offense as a whole looked flat today – they just didn’t seem to want to win as much as ECU did. Pass protection was poor and there wasn’t much hustle. I hope things get better – we have tickets to the Georgia Tech game and our nephew (who went to GT) is going with us.
